This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who sees it and what choices you have. It covers this website and the information you give us when you call, message or visit.
We use your information for the purpose you gave it for. We ask for your agreement where the law requires it. We do not use your health information for advertising.
When you tap the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens with a ready message. Your message is then sent through WhatsApp, which has its own privacy policy. If you would rather not send health details in a message, call us instead.
The map on our pages is provided by Google Maps and loads from Google when you scroll to it, so Google may receive your IP address and use cookies under its own policy. Our homepage loads fonts from Google and plays videos from YouTube only when you choose to play them. Links to Practo, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube lead to services with their own policies.
The page code we write does not set cookies and does not include advertising trackers. Embedded services, such as Google Maps and YouTube, can set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If we add an analytics tool to the website, we will say so here.
We do not sell your personal information.
We keep patient records for as long as they are needed for your care and as the law and professional rules require. Messages that do not lead to treatment are kept only as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can see patient records. No method of sending information over the internet, or of storing it, is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which is being brought into force in stages, gives people the right to see the personal data an organisation holds about them, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to withdraw their consent, and to make a complaint.1
To use any of these rights, write to us at the email address below or call the clinic. We may need to confirm who you are first. Some records we must keep by law, even if you ask us to erase them. If we do not settle your complaint, you can take it to the Data Protection Board of India, as the law allows.
We treat children as well as adults. We ask a parent or guardian to agree to a child's treatment and to share the child's information with us. Read about the clinic and its doctors on the about page, or see our treatments.
If you contact us from another country, your information is handled in India, where the clinic is, and may pass through services such as WhatsApp that operate elsewhere. See dental tourism in Delhi if you are planning a visit.
We may update this policy. The effective date near the start of this page shows when it last changed.
For any question about your information, or to use your rights, contact Orion Dental Clinic: email orionodcc@gmail.com, or call 098115 01995, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 8:00 pm. The contact page has the address and map.
